How to advertise a Phone – demonstrated by Motorola!

I know this is going to cause Troubles, cause my Girlfriend is not exactly the biggest Fan of this Ad – she doesn’t like Motorola, and she does not like Megan Fox :D Anyways, i just can’t let this Day end without blogging about this – Motorola’s Devour Commercial from yesterday’s Superbowl. What’s so cool about this? Not only is it really funny, it also features the incredibly HOT Megan Fox.

If you go by Verizon’s recent “Droid is for Men, Pre is for Women”-Video, the Devour is the next Men Phone. Line of the Day came from Phonearena, who said it’s too bad that the Phone doesn’t come bundled with Fox! lol. well, for your viewing pleasure, here comes the Commercial, enjoy:

Phoneage, powered from Hell!

In Case you don’t know the Phoneage Video Series, you must be living under a Rock the past few Months. Friend of the Site, Jon, from the highly recommendable Tehkseven Site/Blog/Forum has been running those Videos for quite some Time now, and i must say, they’re my favourite News Videos out there. All the latest Happenings of the Week plus Jon’s Humor are making my Monday, Wednesday and Friday a lot of Fun :)

Recently, Jon has had some health Problems, and as you could see in his Apologies-Videos, he certainly had a hard Time. Good News is, he is back on Track and everything’s running like before. In the Meanwhile, yours truly and little Marie-Sophie on the Picture left, had prepared something very nice for Jon, and well, i’m proud we were mentioned in the Video. iPad, Nexus One, Hitler and Marie-Sophie, what a Mix!! lol  The Pictures were fun doing, cause little Marie desperately tried to destroy the Paper. We were lucky to snap at least some Pictures – check out the Video below and of course, let Jon know what you think :)

First HD Videos recorded with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz!

Last Week i reported about the brand new announced Sony Ericsson Vivaz. The S60 powered full-touch smartphone sports a 8 Megapixel Camera for still shots and, what is most important, it is one of the first mobile phones to promise 720p HD video recording. I wrote earlier that i’m quite skeptic about such promises in a mobile phone and i stay until i get my hands on one. Anyways, some new Videos have surfaced, shot with the Vivaz and tbh, it looks quite good. surely no camcorder optics, but pretty acceptable for HD videos in a mobile phone. We’ll see how this will turn out to be in terms of focus and quick movements – until then, enjoy the few bits and judge yourself? Could you see yourself using one?

Vivaz Video: Catch the Action as it happens – in HD!

Brand new Video from Sony Ericsson, showing the new Vivaz in all its Glory! I still stay skeptic about 720p video recording on a phone, but i already told SE to put me on the waiting list for a trial device, so i can give this a try and who knows, maybe they prove me wrong! The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a brand new touchscreen phone, running on S60 5th Edition, with an even further tweaked OS than the Satio has been, equipped with a 8MP camera and 720p video recording!

“Here is a video of Vivaz that shows the video capturing and sharing functionality. Besides the ability of shooting in HD video quality, Vivaz has a simple-but-clever dedicated video key on the side of the phone allowing you to capture the action as it happens. You can share the video immediately in different ways: from the camera UI, from the video/photo panel or from the media player. I personally recommend sharing the HD videos over WiFi as this is very convenient and the resolution of HD videos can make some video files grow quite big.

If you don’t have an already set-up YouTube account today, you can do this from the phone during your first upload session.

The Nokia Mariachi Band invades New York City!!

I just got tipped off, that the infamous Nokia Mariachi Band has striked again! They have been on the Road with Dan from the US WOM World Department, who delivered N97mini Trial Phones to Lenny Bonsignore from Mobile World Innovation, Rehan Asi from Foxteka and John Chew from Crazyphoneguy! Needless to say that those Guys have been absolutely thrilled about this Special Trial delievery! haha What’s next for the Mariachi’s and the Nokia Human Research Department? Austria, maybe? :D

Man Bait – hilarious Nexus One Video!

I haven’t really blooged about the Google Nexus One Video, simply beause i don’t feel it’s worth the Hype. It’s also sure that i won’t get one for myself, as i wanna have a full QWERTY slide-out Keyboard again. Anyways, i stumbled upon this hilarious Video about the Nexus One just a minute ago. The Video is Part of a Google Campaign with selected Youtube Partners. They were asked to make a Video in which they incorporate the Nexus One. The results were really nice of all of the Partners, but this one made me almost fell of my Chair :D Why? Have a look!
