Hashtags for the Nokia Meet and more!

Here I am with just a short update regarding the upcoming awesomeness that is Nokia World and the Meetup the day before it, organized by my good Friend @Mickyfin:
- Throughout the Day, People have settled down on the official Hashtag #NokiaMeet. Follow this hashtag for all updates on Monday, 13th.
- My buddy @ClintonJeff has created a Twitter List with all People attending the Meetup, which you can find here!
- And last but not least, i have created a Flickr Group for Nokia World 2010, where everyone is invited to join, no matter if you attend or not. See what we see as we give you updates as they happen.

As you might know by now, me and a bunch of bloggers from all over the World will be in London next month for Nokia World 2010! Since we know that Nokia won’t go with our “ye giant meetup” plans, my friend Micky Aldridge, of Nokia Users and NokiaDNA fame, immediately suggested to do a little meetup. Said and done, and thanks to the ever awesome People of WOM World Nokia / 1000 Heads we had a location ready. Drinks and Snacks will be served by the Team as well, which is truly appreciated.
So if you can’t make it to Nokia World, but are in or around london at the time, make sure to drop by and say hello. have a relaxed chat with us about tech, phones, or just say hello! Yes thats right, I just secured a Deal with Nokia Austria for Nokia World 2010 in London!! I will be in London from Sept. 13.-16., making the most of my time over there, visiting Nokia World, WOM World Nokia/1000 Heads and more. I’m also extremely looking forward to meet fellow bloggers again, some people i already know and hopefully some new contacts as well. This is not an all expenses paid trip, which means i’ll sort Hotel and Flights on my own, but i’m just happy i dont need to pay the ridiculous 700 Euro for the 2-day ticket.
The Goal is that Nokia Austria teams up with me to bring some exclusive live Coverage, as well as Pictures, Videos and more, in return for the Ticket. Additionally i will cover everything thats going on at Nokia World for Fone Arena readers, so whatever is going on, you will read/see it at www.fonearena.com first.
Nokia World 2010 is shaping up to be the first thing of many to come, in Nokias plan to get revenge. Nokia knew that they messed up in the past, big time. faulty hardware, buggy software and lots of stupid decisions. they have lost a lot of space to the competition, mostly Android and Apple in my opinion, and with that in mind, Nokia will fight back, full steam ahead. I am pumped and excited to see what they have in store for us!
Hell in London – a recap

One Thing was VERY sure when i returned back home from London in October: i’ll be back. i wasn’t sure when and how, but i’ll definitely come over again and get some more impressions of the city i got to know at the Ovi good things trip. Since my Company closes for some days for christmas and new year, i decided to take some more days off and fly over the United Kingdom again. I was extremely happy that my good Friend Dan Carter (World of Nokia) decided to spend the 3 days with me – a few Mails back and forth with him and the Guys over at WOM World, who did the unbelievable thing and pulled of a nice little tech meet-up with some fellow bloggers from the UK! Booking, Packing and i was all set up – Hell in London, here go:

And now here comes the cool Part, my Friends from WOM World Nokia have just announced that there will be a WOM World Nokia Meetup right in their Headquarters this Thursday evening, starting from 18.30! Cool Thing, i like it and i’m sure as hell will be there, so if you wanna sit down, have a drink with me and Dan and chat about everything Nokia, head over to WOM World’s Meet-up Post and let them know you’re coming!! 
London UK better gets ready

This could either be a great Beginning in 2010 for London, UK – or Riot and Panic in the Streets, cause i’m going to pay London another Visit. It was back in late October 2009, when i came to the UK first, as Part of the OVI Good Things Trip, which was great Fun but definitely not long enough! I really enjoyed my Time with the WOM World People and the Bloggers back in October, 2 great Days which i’ll never forget. The City is exactly how it’s portrayed in Movies etc., and my grandparents were not wrong, when they told me, that i’ll have a good Time. I mean, who would’ve known that we’ll spend a whole Evening in our own Boat, shipping on the River Thames, crossing the Tower Bridge a few Times, as well as Big Ben, the London Eye etc. Coming back to London again was in my Mind immediately after i landed back home in Austria, so it was just a matter of time before i’ll fly over. Winter does not have the prefered Temperatures for such a Journey, but since my Company is closed for Holidays, i figured the Time was right. So what better Way to kick off 2010, than travelling again to the city of red busses and the accent i struggle to fully understand haha.. So, whats in Store?

I thought maybe someone is interested to see the short Interview i did for Nokia? This was Part of my Trip to find the good Things with the WOM World Team and 10 selected Bloggers from all over the World in London 2 Weeks ago. The Video contains Questions about myself, where i blog, where and how i buy Phones and what i wanna see in future Nokia Devices. I would’ve had a lot more to say on the last Matter, but i guess the N86 would’ve just run out of Memory then 
Anyways, i enjoyed the Interview and hope you do too!
Good Things in London – A Recap!

well well, here i am, sharing my Thoughts from the Trip that recently went down – WOM World Nokia and 10 selected Bloggers/Personalities from the Nokia Scene from all over the World, our Mission? Finding the good Things in London! My Trip started REALLY early this Thursday Morning, it was 3.10 am when my Alarm Clock woke me up! i Unplugged all my Chargers from the Phones that went with me and off i was. Arriving at 4.30 at the U-Train Station, and the Sign welcomed me with a “No Traffic – Use the Bus” Sign. Vienna had a big Water Pipe Damage a Day before and over the Night, Water started to poor in the U-Train Tunnels – what a Start! Read the rest of this entry »
