Nikon P100 – a little play with the Zoom!

You know i really really love my Camera. One of the main selling points of the Nikon P100 are its 26x optical zoom capabilities: useless? think again!

As you can see, the optical Zoom is just whooping. It takes an immensely steady hand, or either a Tripod, you can still see a lot of potential there. Combine a bit of optical zoom with macro mode and you can get some stunning super macro shots. (click on the pics for the flickr high res greatness!)

I just love it!

Was on the road yesterday and as usual, had my Nikon P100 with me. To make this short, i saw this while driving at home, so i stopped at the Side of the Autobahn and snapped away.

I can’t tell you how much i love this. What do you think?

HD Macro Video Test with my Nikon P100

Here’s a little Macro Video i did yesterday. In Fact it was Video Mode, but with optical Zoom Support and although i had some Problems with focussing, the end of the Video shows the real Potential. Love it. I haven’t regret my Nikon P100 yet, great Camera!

Nokia C5 Picture Gallery up on Fonearena!

Besides of all the N8 fuzz that went down today, i have managed to finalize and put up my extensive, high quality Nokia C5 Gallery! This is not only one of my best ever Picture Gallery, but also gives a good Taste of what my Nikon P100 can do. I absolutely love this Camera, and i also have a lot of Love to give to the Nokia C5. About 170 Euro for a Smartphone that misses WLAN, but features a new Version of Nokia Messaging, and has more, cool new OS Features on Symbian OS 3rd Version. Played around with my new Cam, the Nikon P100 today, as well as my latest trial, the Nokia C5. this is a combination of a macro shot and optical zoom. all my pictures are unedited, right as they came out of the cam!
