- And last but not least, i have created a Flickr Group for Nokia World 2010, where everyone is invited to join, no matter if you attend or not. See what we see as we give you updates as they happen.
So this is it, feel free to join us, even if its only virtually!
Not at Nokia World, still fancy a Meet-up with a Ton of Bloggers?
Aug 25th
As you might know by now, me and a bunch of bloggers from all over the World will be in London next month for Nokia World 2010! Since we know that Nokia won’t go with our “ye giant meetup” plans, my friend Micky Aldridge, of Nokia Users and NokiaDNA fame, immediately suggested to do a little meetup. Said and done, and thanks to the ever awesome People of WOM World Nokia / 1000 Heads we had a location ready. Drinks and Snacks will be served by the Team as well, which is truly appreciated.
So if you can’t make it to Nokia World, but are in or around london at the time, make sure to drop by and say hello. have a relaxed chat with us about tech, phones, or just say hello! There are a ton of bloggers on the Micky’s list already, so if you wanna have a great evening with Micky, Dan from World of Nokia, Rafe of AAS, Nirave or myself, pop over to NokiaDNA for all details, times and more!
OMG! Nokia N8-00 in the Works!?
Mar 23rd
A gigantic Picture just hit Twitter a few Minutes ago, and what i see made me drool all over my Keyboard instantly: It seems like Nokia is preparing a Photo Flagship, and according to some Rumors, it might be called the N8-00. What’s the Camera like? Well, have a Look below, cause this Picture just appeared!

True? Or maybe Fake after all!? It looks very real to me, but I don’t know any Facts, so this will just stay another Rumor until Nokia announces it!
Sexiest Nokia Device? – Here’s my Picks!
Mar 13th
My Friends over at WOM World Nokia has asked for the sexiest Nokia Device out there, after a Post on another Blog from a Guy called Lloyd. Chris (WOM World) has already shared his Picks with the Winner being the Nokia 8800 Saphire Arte. Not a bad Pick, Bro!
How to let them know your Choices?
“So WHY isn’t there a definitive list revealing what is – undisputedly – the World’s Sexiest Nokia? It’s a great injustice… and one that’s about to change.
A recent post by Lloyd at Lloyd’s Blog gave us the idea, after he discussed the merits of the ‘a little bit sexy’ E75.
It’s on!
We want YOU to reveal your top three sexiest Nokias. In return, we will collate your answers and reveal the top ten – in a countdown format of course – next week.
You can get involved by posting your response on your website and sending the link to us via Twitter – or you can simply Tweet us your entries @Womworldnokia. Make sure you tell us the reasoning behind the choices too, and we’ll feature the pick of your comments.
Whichever way you choose to enter, make sure you use the hashtag #SexiestNokia to ensure your entry becomes part of the conversation.”
Now, I’ve been thinking a bit and I came up with my own Picks. I also considered non-symbian Devices, and no Matter how old they are. S40, S60, Maemo, no matter what, if the Device looks great! Here we go:
3. – Nokia E72:
My Trial Device until Monday, which I’m currently reviewing over at Fonearena.com. Really hot Device, hottest Symbian Device out there. I love black Phones, i i love stainless Steel and i love Chrome Parts. This in Combination make a great Combination, which i like even more than the E71. The Hardware Quality may not be as great as mentioned E71, but in general it’s a superb Device and I’d definitely prefer this over the E71! A 5 Megapixel Cam for really good Shots, brilliant Keyboards and only a few Downers add some more Goodness to the Device.
2. Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte:
I’ve never been a Friend of the 8800 Series, as the Devices are made of great Materials but have absolutely nothing in Terms of Spec or Software that can attract me. However, i can’t deny that i love the Carbon Parts on the 8800 Carbon Arte and it’s an Eyecatcher. I saw this Device only in January in the Nokia Flagship Store in London and i drooled all over it. The Pricing is out of my League, but it’s still a Device that has amazing Looks!
1. Nokia 8600 Luna
The absolute hottest Nokia Device in my Opinion is shown right above here – the Nokia 8600 Luna. This Device is, similar to the 8800 Carbon Arte, totally out of my Price League and there is no Way I’d use one as my Main Phone – however, we speak about Design here and this is where the 8600 Luna scores for me, big Time. Black stainless Steel, the smoked Glass Cover, which show a Glimpse of the Buttons even when closed and a fantastic feel/look Experience (according to Reviews, I’ve never seen this Device in the Wild) are making this the absolute sexiest Device for me out there!
Team Austria gets ready for the Nokia Mini Olympics!
Feb 22nd
You Guys know that i really like WOM World Nokia’s Projects and i never hesitate to participate in whatever they’re throwing at me! Well, their latest Coup is no different! Last Friday i got a Mail from Chris Illman, asking if i wanna be Team Captain in the Nokia Mini Olympics. Curious of what it was, i gladly excepted and well today the Fun begins – how? read on!
Basically, the Mini Olympics is a little Fun to pay Tribute to the actual Olympic Games that take Place right now in Vancouver, Canada! (waving over to Mr. Tom Hall, hows it going over there my Friend?) WOM World has named a Team Captain for every Country participating, for the winning Team of Austria, I’ll be the Team Captain. Each Leader had Time over the Weekend to recruit a Team of 3 – 5 Members, and basically, we’re set to go!
Want to get to know Michael Hell!? – My Interview for Nokiausers.net
Feb 16th
I’ve been recently asked by my good Friend Micky Aldridge from Nokiausers.net, if i wanna be Part of an Interview Series he is conducting on a weekly Basis, called “Interview with a Nokia Enthusiast”. Never backing down from a Challenge i gladly accepted and worked myself through 15 Questions, trying to get into every single one as in-depth as possible. The Result was a great Interview Session, where i was able to open my Mind and speak everything about for or against Nokia. Never hesitating in telling how i feel about certain Things, i can say that i answered every Question honest and unbiased. Questions included my first ever Nokia Phone, why i like the Brand Nokia or how i want my future Smartphone to be!
So without further adue, check out my Interview over at Nokiausers.net and let us know what you think about it!

Feb 14th
And even hotter: The Sony Ericsson X10 mini pro. The little brother of the X10, that has already surfaced earlier this Year also gets blessed with a full Slide-out QWERTY Keyboard. Again 4 Rows this Time, it looks a bit thick, which was expected with a Keyboard! Nice Device, with Android, it should be really a good Experience!

First HD Videos recorded with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz!
Feb 3rd
Last Week i reported about the brand new announced Sony Ericsson Vivaz. The S60 powered full-touch smartphone sports a 8 Megapixel Camera for still shots and, what is most important, it is one of the first mobile phones to promise 720p HD video recording. I wrote earlier that i’m quite skeptic about such promises in a mobile phone and i stay until i get my hands on one. Anyways, some new Videos have surfaced, shot with the Vivaz and tbh, it looks quite good. surely no camcorder optics, but pretty acceptable for HD videos in a mobile phone. We’ll see how this will turn out to be in terms of focus and quick movements – until then, enjoy the few bits and judge yourself? Could you see yourself using one?
