MWC’10: Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro announced!
Feb 14th
And even hotter: The Sony Ericsson X10 mini pro. The little brother of the X10, that has already surfaced earlier this Year also gets blessed with a full Slide-out QWERTY Keyboard. Again 4 Rows this Time, it looks a bit thick, which was expected with a Keyboard! Nice Device, with Android, it should be really a good Experience!

How to advertise a Phone – demonstrated by Motorola!
Feb 8th
I know this is going to cause Troubles, cause my Girlfriend is not exactly the biggest Fan of this Ad – she doesn’t like Motorola, and she does not like Megan Fox
Anyways, i just can’t let this Day end without blogging about this – Motorola’s Devour Commercial from yesterday’s Superbowl. What’s so cool about this? Not only is it really funny, it also features the incredibly HOT Megan Fox.
In a hot tub.
Using an Android Phone.
If you go by Verizon’s recent “Droid is for Men, Pre is for Women”-Video, the Devour is the next Men Phone. Line of the Day came from Phonearena, who said it’s too bad that the Phone doesn’t come bundled with Fox! lol. well, for your viewing pleasure, here comes the Commercial, enjoy:
HTC Hero Battery Tests – Part 1: Normal Usage
Jan 14th
Some Time ago i thankfully received a Set of Spare Batteries for my HTC Hero from Mugen Power Batteries. I have read Micky’s N97 Battery Tests on Nokiausers prior to my own Tests and was amazed by the Power those Beasts were pumping out. Since the Android OS is not exactly a very power-saving OS, the stock 1350 mAh Battery died away pretty quick under my daily Conditions. I just had to do something about it and Mugen seemed like a very good Option for it. I tried and used 3rd party Batteries in the Past, but almost never got a reliable Solution, most of them were even less powerfull than the original One. So, did Mugen delivered what we are waiting for?
Man Bait – hilarious Nexus One Video!
Jan 10th
I haven’t really blooged about the Google Nexus One Video, simply beause i don’t feel it’s worth the Hype. It’s also sure that i won’t get one for myself, as i wanna have a full QWERTY slide-out Keyboard again. Anyways, i stumbled upon this hilarious Video about the Nexus One just a minute ago. The Video is Part of a Google Campaign with selected Youtube Partners. They were asked to make a Video in which they incorporate the Nexus One. The results were really nice of all of the Partners, but this one made me almost fell of my Chair
Why? Have a look!
My Phone of the Year 2009 is.. (Part2)
Jan 5th
Continuing from my first Part of the My Phone of the Year 2009, i wanna give you a quick heads-up of what went down yesterday so far, here are the ranks from 9 to 6:
- No.9 – Sony Ericsson Satio: a bug-infected SE handset with a great camera that sometimes appeared to have more issues than features.
- No.8 – Nokia 5800XM: i already got a lot of response to this decision, keep in mind that this is based on my personal tastes and experiences, my choices might not go along with your thoughts, and they’re not supposed to do that. anyways, the 5800XM, despite having the best stereo speakers i’ve ever heard gave me a world of troubles, spanning from damaged speakers and display to a totally useless homescreen (unless you get some 3rd party app help).
- No.7 – HTC/T-Mobile G1: The first ever google phone has sparked this Android love in me really well, resulting in eventually abandoning Symbian OS. But unfortunately the G1 was relatively unspectacular. Camera, Speakers, Battery Life .. nothing to really write a book about.
- No.6 – Nokia N97: a feature-packed mobile computer, which some hate to death and some praise as Nokia’s savior. i’m kinda stuck in the middle. while i liked the form factor with its extremely solid slider hinge and the overall features, i found the keyboard to be extremely annoying, resistive touchscreen is a matter of taste (i’m clearly against it) and RAM/phone memory issues that shouldn’t be found on a flagship device, right?
So much for the End of my List, but now let’s find out who’s on top, shall we!?
My Phone of the Year 2009 is.. (Part1)
Jan 5th
First of, sorry for not doing any Happy New Year Post – the reason is simple and very easy to understand, i almost completely took off from all the Internet Fuzz. I have spend a very nice evening with my half-sister in vienna, after that 4 straight days with my beloved girlfriend
I enjoyed those days very very much and so did my girl! Still i wanna take a second and wish you the very best for 2010. i hope you had some great days and may all your wishes come true in this new year!
2 Days before the end of 2009, Friend of the Site, James Whatley has published a new Post over on the highly recommendable The Really Mobile Project-Blog called “My Phone of the Year“. The result of his thoughts were very interesting and surprised a lot of us, but at the same time, James’ points were very reasonable and actually gave the feeling he was right – if you wanna find out which Phone rocked James the most in 2009, head over to the Really Mobile Project and read on! Parts of this Post are taken from my Reply i did on TRMP, but i felt like doing a list on my own, and additionally tweaking it a bit. my list will be about Phones i have used in 2009, not judging by their actual Sales Dates! Ready? Let’s go..
Dessert Or Appetizer?
Dec 13th
Everyone deserves a complete meal except for the unfortunate ones. I’m not stereotyping humans and non humans just because I have given a chance to be a guest writer on Michael Hell’s blog (I’m not sure what his surname was, but have fun on it).BTW, thank you so much myk!
Just like in a restaurant you have to choose on the menu. After the order was filed it’s time to zip a little of the aromatic wine, ready the spoon with some soup and cut a piece of cake. Obviously if you’re an avid restaurant guy then you know that I missed something and that is the main dish, where you cannot complete the meal without it. Okay!, that sounds long already and I am not here to talk about that food lover things or etiquette issues.
Bravo, HTC!?
Dec 8th
Just reading through some Feeds this Morning, and the folks of Engadget have caught my Attention with the un-official Presentation of a possible upcoming Beast from HTC, which was rumored for some Time now. Yes, the HTC Passion (or Bravo, how it might be called in Europe) has appeared now in a tasty Picture and boy, does this thing look nice. And it looks even nicer when you take a Look at the rumored Specs – as stated by Engadget:
