My Blog seems to turn more and more into a personal Blog at the moment, and well, its a good thing in some way, cause its truly “Thoughts from Hell” then. As you might know, I’m posting all my Phone Thoughts/Rants/Reviews, over on my Friend Varun’s Fone Arena, and I must say I’m really comfortable with this and afaik, my Posts produced some really nice Stats so far! My blog has been an extremely phone-centered Blog since its launch, not completely what i wanted, cause i also wanted to use this as Kind of a personal blog, to share my Interests like Photography, Movies, Videos and much more.

Thoughts from Hell will be updated more often from now on, I wasn’t really able to blog in the last few Weeks, due to other Involvements. Big Things, i can guarantee you that, and I’m very happy with my current Situation.

Anyways, I’ve purchased a brand spanking new Digital Camera 2 Weeks ago. I was really happy with my good ol’ Sony DSC-H20 and i was able to produce some stunning Pics with it thus far. However, i was on the Search for something better lately and decided to sell my Sony to the Parents of a good Friend, who are pretty happy with the Purchase from what I’ve heard. My favourite Camera type are Bridgecam. Those cameras are a middle between Pocketcams and DSLR’s in case you don’t know. The Lenses are fixed, but its not as huge as their bigger Brothers.  So i went on a little Geek Shop Tour lately to a Media Markt in Vienna and tried the Object of Desire – the Olympus SP-800UZ. 14MP, 30x optical Zoom, 720p video and much more made this Cam my clear Favourite. Unfortunately, it looked much better on Paper and after i saw the rather grainy Display and a Camera that looked like a Pocketcam with huge Lense on it, i decided to skip it and look for another Model.

I had a look around in their Camera Department and my eyes fell on the Nikon Coolpix P100. More expensive than the Olympus, but the great Feel, a much finer and even adjustable Display made this Camera my prefered Option. My friend Markus, who also has a good Eye for Photography helped me with the Decision, so i decided to get the Nikon Coolpix P100. Want Specs!?

Okay, that was a lot of hi-tech stuff. The things i like my Cam the most, is the amazing 26x optical Zoom Quality. I think 10 Megapixel are just right for a Cam that Size, and having 1080p HD Video recording is yet another Plus. There’s an amazing Sport-Series Shoot Mode, that enables me to snap 120 Pictures per SECOND! The Display can be adjusted in different Position and Angles and there’s a LOT of different Settings and Modes that the Cam can be set up with, such as: Portrait, Landscape, Food, Musem, Panorama, Documents and much much more. The Handling is fantastic and the Cam always has enough Grip to fit tight in your Hand.
